Guests rave about the friendly and attentive staff, whose service adds warmth to every meal. The vintage decor creates a cozy, historic atmosphere, inviting patrons to linger. The menu stands out with dishes like the Boston steak, which visitors often praise for its perfect cooking. Desserts, particularly the crème brûlée and Biscoffi cheesecake, receive high accolades, with many declaring them must-tries. The well-curated wine selection also garners appreciation, enhancing the dining experience further. Finally, the atmosphere during dinner is lively, with the fireplace and a great beer selection contributing to an enjoyable and memorable night.

Most Disliked

While many cherish the culinary offerings, some patrons find certain dishes overly sauced, making flavors tougher to discern. A recurring note among reviews points out that the busy plates might overwhelm those looking for simplicity in their meal. Dining without a reservation also leads some to disappointment, as the restaurant can reach capacity, especially on weekends. Moreover, a few guests express that the exterior may not reflect the excellent dining experience they find inside, potentially deterring first-time visitors. Lastly, the relatively higher price point, while justified by many based on quality, has drawn comments from those seeking more budget-friendly options.

One of the best restaurants in Tyrone - if not the best at the moment. Without a doubt the top meal we’ve gotten in a long time. The service - all of the staff were so friendly, and in the indoor ambience and decor is vintage. Dessert menu looks great but we were too full to try! Had a pint of birra moretti which was very good, they also had a non alcoholic old mout cider . Food was outstanding and will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try more things on their great menu!

Enjoyed a very tasty meal for two on a busy Friday evening... Staff were very attentive... All food was served in good time... Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant... For starter We had Pork Ribs & Tempura Prawns, really lovely start to our meal. We both opted for the Boston steak, was well cooked and red wine jus was really tasty, although next time I'd order just the one sauce separately, we found the plate too busy with two different sauces. We had the Biscoffi Cheesecake & Creme Brulee for dessert, absolutely delicious homemade desserts. Good wine selection also. Our meal cost £127 and felt this was fair for standard of service and quality of food. Look forward to returning in near future.

Staff were kind and attentive on a busy pre-Christmas evening. The bramble cocktails were well made, very tasty and quite potent. Food was very good, everyone enjoyed their dishes. Had the affogato for dessert, was lovely and an ideal pick me up at the end of the meal

We had no booking and picked here from the Google rating. We had a lovely warm welcome, excellent service and very tasty food. I would not have known from the exterior that it had an extensive and good restaurant. Would recommend, worth a detour if travelling in the area.

Love this place, and the Boston steak is amazing - been here many times over the years. We were here last week with some friends, and honestly, you can't beat it. Food and service are amazing. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Omagh as you won't be disappointed.

A quietly rustic place with plenty of ambiance. We were seated promptly upon arrival and drink orders were taken as we sat. The wife had the prawn and pork belly starter. It was a perfectly combination of flavours and textures. For the mains, she had the delicious filet while I pushed the boat out and had the duck breast with maricino cherry sauce topped with popcorn. It's a playful dish that jumps from sweet to salty in such a way that you say mmm with every bite. This is a wonderful place with a well deserved reputation. Great service, outstanding food and a lovely night.
